Another frustration

After the frustration with the HLK LD2420 sensor from Ali, I decided to buy something more reliable, better quality… I thought.

I bought two WaveShare mmWave radar modules from grobotronics this time. Greek reliable supplier. Arrived fast.

I also got a UART to USB module to connect the sensors to the computer this time and make more reliable tests. I downloaded the proper software from Waveshare and tested.

Alas!

None of the two sensors gave readings. Not even recognized from the software.

Change of plan. Back to the breadboard. Just power and the digital on/off pin. Nothing!

Either I am too dumb and cannot make them work, or those sensors suck!

I lowered my technology level and bought a PIR sensor from Ali. Not that smart as mmWave sensors. BUT! It works. I have it on my desk for a couple of days lighting an LED when it senses me and seems OK. I will make a project with that later on April.
