Desk organization project

A couple of days ago I started a small organization project for my desk. Next to the MIDI controller I have my backup drive and of course bits and bobs are accumulated.

So, I designed a little storage thingy for the drives and what ever ends living there. I forgot to document the build. The first day I did the cuts and today I did the assembly and paint.

I am pleased with the result. Maybe seems bulky but it looks nice. The disks are accessible, opening a lead. Cables are getting out from the right port. Yes, large and letting air circulate and keep the drive cool (I guess).

Back to normal, I can place some things on it also. I have to point the industrial pull of the little drawer, an M4 screw.

I have plans for this little furniture. I am thinking to attach the screw driver holder on it, because now I have it attached to the desk with a lamp holder. Also the “tunel” next to the drawer will house some info screen (like the clock I did). I have opened a cable port in the back. Some thing, I don’t know yet.

It was a nice Sunday.
