The rain gauge needs regular attention. Unmounting it is a bit stressful. There is wing nut that I have to remove, over the void of three floors. Note, I have edge phobia. So, today’s project was to build a base with quick release mechanism.
Unfortunately today I was in pain and not in a documentary mood. So I have photos only from the final result.
Let’s hope that the quick release will resist wind and birds and it will not fall off.
BTW, rain gauge is so frequent subject that I created a category “rain gauge” to see how many posts it will take.
