After playing around with EasyEDA I designed some PCPs. JLCPCP had an offer (again) and I ordered my designs to have that experience.
After some days a very very nice package arrived. Plastic wrap, luxurious box and the PCPs in a bag. Very nice. I ordered three designs, board related to the weather station project.
The big one is the main board, the medium is the comparator for the rain bucket and the small one is a SSD with shift register. The later is the one that I had more fun with it.
I soldered all components and it was not working. After some debugging I found an error in the schematic, which of course was transferred to the PCP. But it was easily fixed. So having the building blocks I easily created a 2 SSD display. Chained the shift registers, is it a two byte display?
