Small utility boards.
Testing an idea on the breadboard, you need a LED to test/indicate something. Looking for resistor and place to fit it. You grub the left little board connect to the ground and connect to one of the four LEDs. Nice? Even Adafruit has similar product.
The right one is inspired from an Ali product. Common anode, 8 bits. Plug to a shift register and play.
